Basic and translational research:
decoding valve calcification

We investigate the biological mechanisms behind valve calcification to identify early biomarkers, new therapeutic targets, and personalized prevention strategies.

This bench-to-bedside approach connects biological signals with the real progression of disease. By combining cellular analysis, clinical data, and multimodal imaging, we aim to better predict disease progression and refine risk stratification.

Ultimately, the goal is to enable earlier, less invasive, and more personalized interventions.

Beyond theoretical outcomes, we assess technical feasibility, patient adherence, and workflow optimization in everyday practice.
